No — it’s an in-house membership offered directly by Winchester Dental, not insurance. There are no deductibles, annual maximums, claim forms, or waiting periods. You pay one simple fee and your covered preventive care is included.
Right away. Unlike traditional insurance, there are no waiting periods — your membership benefits are active as soon as you enroll.
Most healthy adults choose the Preventative Plan. If you’ve been treated for gum disease and need more frequent cleanings, the Perio Maintenance Plan is the right fit. Children age 13 and under can enroll in the Kids Plan. Not sure? We’ll help you pick at your visit.
Yes. Members receive 25% off virtually all other treatment — fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, implants, Invisalign, and whitening. The membership discount can’t be combined with dental insurance.
Absolutely. Each membership covers one person, and you can enroll every member of your family — including a discounted Kids Plan for children age 13 and under. Ask us about signing up multiple family members.
The Winchester Dental Smile Plan is a membership discount program, not dental insurance. It is not a qualified health plan under the Affordable Care Act and does not meet minimum essential coverage requirements. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, cover the named member only, and cannot be combined with dental insurance or other discounts. Benefits and pricing are subject to change; plan terms are provided at enrollment.
